The job posting clearly mentioned Remote work, even then the interviewer asked whether you will relocate to EST timezone. Not blaming the interviewer, but the people and culture/HR/hiring team who writes the job posting. No where on the posting was it written that candidate should be available in EST timezone, or willing to relocate to EST time zone. IDK why that is a requirement, when there are many engineers all over NorthAmerican timezone.
Interviewer was nice. I believe they said, there will be multiple rounds. Starting with screening, 2 technical rounds, one round with the team and, one leadership round.

They start with your entire work and education history. Going back to what you did before graduation. Even though you have more than 10 yrs of experience.

First round is the hiring manager round.
Second round is the technical coding round, asked to build a basic UI component.
Questions were vague but easy. They didn’t seem very interested, which makes me think if they were actually looking to hire anyone!
had a first call with recruiter and he says his feedback is super positive but haven't get any follow up after that.
was asked about my working experience, salary expectation and a couple of basic technical questions.
