Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Verance Management Group (Bridgewater, MA) nel mese di mar 2017

      Colloquio

Applied Online, got a call from their receptionist disguised as HR Manager, interviewed with CEO (for 10 minutes), called in for second interview the next day. CEO is very inexperienced. I asked her what brought her to verance and why did she choose them and she said she didn't know what she wanted to do but she wanted to make money. This company has no goals and no outlook. Staff is very inexperienced. They don't seem to have a product or service, they help service Home Depot, which is right next door. This company will not last.

      Colloquio

Asked no questions, very odd and unprofessional. They were hosting a job fair it looked like as there were at least 10 other people there for the same interview all at the same time. “CEO” of the company did the interviews and barely asked any questions.

The interview process is very standard and robotic. The Receptionist will call to schedule a time for interviews, and they will reject your application if you're not able to come in on their specified day. They again ask for a copy of your resume (even though they already have it) and they request you fill out paperwork in the reception area in that contains information re: desired salary, position interviewing for, home address, etc. Office is in an industrial park, on the side of the building housing a body shop. When you make it into the office, it seems like a poorly put together TV set or low budget film. Everything is generic, looks like there isn't enough cash flow to properly outfit the office. After the interview, I've concluded it's a classic pyramid scheme for Home Depot that hires people based upon a vague and unclear salary commitment to talk them into hiring home Depot services to remodel your kitchen or bathroom.

We are sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with our interview process. Our receptionist is very flexible and understanding if an applicant is unavailable for an interview on a specific day. We do not reject any applications for that reason. We ask for a hard copy of your resume because we only have an electronic copy before you actually come into our office for an interview. We wouldn't want our hiring manager to keep a laptop open to go through it with you during the interview. The way our office looks is irrelevant to what we do as a company, and we work hard to furnish the office in a way that looks professional. The term "pyramid scheme" does concern us though because those organizations require payment from participants that wish to join which are then asked to give a portion of their profits back to the company. We do not under any circumstances require upfront payment for anyone to join our office and all of our employees are paid a guaranteed rate. It would be against our company morals to participate in that kind of business. I hope that clears up any confusion and we wish you the best of luck in the rest of your career search!
