I was reached out to by a recruiter via LinkedIn in late-October about the role and booked an interview. Had the screening interview and was given a case study the next day to complete in a two-day timeframe. Once the case study was sent back, I was scheduled an interview with two team managers. At the end of the interview, I was told I would hear back within a few weeks.
Fast-forward five weeks as of today and I still haven’t heard anything back. I reached out to the recruiter who contacted me in the first place with no response. I’m writing on the assumption that I won’t be hearing from anyone at Verisk with any updates at this point.
I’ve talked to others who have had similar interview experiences with Verisk but had decided to take a chance as the role, company, and potential coworkers seemed like a good fit. However, the lack of communication and care has unfortunately produced an overall negative experience that demonstrates a lack of professionalism and respect for the applicant. A simple rejection email would have been preferable to complete silence, and the lack of effort provided from Verisk speaks volumes on how the company sees their applicants.
I do not believe that I will apply to any roles in the future and would urge caution to those reading who are interested in pursuing opportunities with Verisk.
