Was interviewed by the HR person first to get the basic information, personality, etc..., that was followed up by an interview with a member of the hiring managers team. This was a very technical interview, questions came from all directions need to be quick on your feet. This also gave me a good idea of the many areas of expertise one will need for the job. The final round of interviews was with the hiring manager. This was more of a formality then anything else. Went through the business aspect of the job and what he expected from me. After the interview I was contacted by the HR person again and presented with an offer, after so negotiations I was emailed over an offer letter to review and sign. This was painless, then they needed to do the background check which took about 2 weeks to complete, they recommend you do not give notice until the background check is complete. So from first interview till first day on the job was about 4 - 5 weeks.
