I was given a Google Hangout email after having programmed an interview date on Calendly. On the day of the interview, I had the bad luck of having poor bandwidth connection and a result, what was all of a sudden excitement over my candidacy, turned into "we are looking for a more senior person". I know it was because of the poor connection. Additionally, the interviewer would not make eye contact with me when he was sharing about the company. Poor business etiquette and it spoke volumes of the company. Also, they worked in 3 to 5 month contracts which signaled to me they were struggling just like I am as a freelancer.
