I began my venture into the ViaSat hiring process by speaking to a ViaSat representative at the engineering career fair at my university. I was offered a one-to-one interview on-site. Then, a couple weeks later, I was offered a phone interview, which I accepted. I have not yet heard anything following the phone interview, but it seemed promising.
One phone screen and one behavioral interview with hiring manager. Very smooth and quick process. Talked about past experiences on my resume and answered questions about working on a team. Entire process took about 1 week.

Initial phone screen was straightforward. Interview with manager was considerably more difficult with resume deep dive and technical questions targeting ASIC/FPGA design flow, digital logic questions, and RTL coding. Expect to be questioned in detail about anything on your resume.

Usually get to know each other kind of questions. Tell me about yourself, are you open for relocation, do you have salesforce experience, tell me about your hobbies, why did you apply for viasat. The hiring manager then walked me through the role and its responsibilities.
