My city's mall is opening a new PINK store and renovating Victoria's secret. I've never had a job and had no luck the entire summer. I applied for VS on July 16 (a Tuesday). When I turned the application in, the girl working the cash wrap told me that they review applications every Monday and that I would probably hear from them in the next week. July 18 (a Thursday) I received a call asking for me to come in for an interview on Monday, and I agreed. July 20 (That Saturday), I was in the mall with my boyfriend when the manager called me and asked if I could come in earlier for the interview - since I was in the mall already, we had it then. The interview was solo (obviously because it was so last minute). I walked in the store and started chatting with the cashier who, as it turns out, goes to my university. Once the two managers came out, they introduced themselves and took me in to the back room. They both sat down and one of them asked me a bunch of questions out of this little pink book of interview questions. It was very laid back - both girls were very friendly. They asked me to tell them about myself and asked questions about my job experience, what I thought it meant to be a PINK girl, and they asked if i could sell them one PINK item, what would it be?

I applied for Christmas seasonal Sales associate and I had a phone interview then a group assessment interview. Just be yourself, try to be confident in yourself and stand out. I arrived earlier than they said and they liked that. I wore all black smart business clothes (doesn’t mean a suit). I shaved my hair a few weeks ago but they really liked it so no matter what hair you have, as long as you present yourself well it should be okay as the lady that interviewed us had pink hair. And don’t forget to smile. I applied in early November, got the call three weeks later got the interview two days later and got the job a day after- we thank Jesus.

It was calm and relaxing. Just getting to know you and how your interesest to see if you would align with there values. I was a one on one interview which can go from one on one to like five or six in the first round to one on one if you get asked to come back.
