A recruiter reached out to me via email, and scheduled a call with the hiring manager. The call with the hiring manager entailed a deep dive into a previous project I worked on (a bit more like an interrogation than an interview, but okay). I got handed off, via email, to a different recruiter, who scheduled a short call with me, in which she asked about my salary requirements. I communicated that I was flexible, and I was looking for a good fit more than a specific salary. She kept pushing, in a way that I found unprofessional. I got an email a couple days later, telling me that they were passing. Bizarre experience.

The interview process included a phone call with the recruiter, a call with the engineering manager, a technical take home to on-site interview, and then a final behavioural type interview with many members across the organization and the immediate team.
Overall the process was smooth: communication was responsive, the team was very motivated, and the questions were fair and interesting.
