My interview experience with Virtusa was disappointing and felt quite disorganised. The first interview was scheduled but the interviewer did not join the meeting. The interview was then postponed to the following day. When the rescheduled interview took place, it was conducted by a different interviewer without any explanation. During the interview, the interviewer did not turn on their camera, which made the interaction feel impersonal. It also seemed that the interviewer was multitasking or responding to other messages during the interview, which made the conversation feel less engaging and somewhat unprofessional. The discussion itself focused heavily on very specific technical trivia such as writing XPath expressions, rather than exploring broader quality engineering topics like automation strategy, collaboration with developers, or testing approaches in modern Agile environments. Overall, the process felt unstructured and outdated compared to other interview experiences I have had.

The recruitment process was extremely disappointing. I completed all the required rounds and was told I’d receive an offer, but even after several weeks, there’s been no communication from HR. It’s been over three months now, and they don’t respond to calls or emails. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of transparency shows poor respect for candidates’ time and effort. The company should work on improving its communication and hiring process.
