Applying and Interviewing with Vortex started off normal and someone reached out to me quickly to schedule an interview. Right off the bat they expressed their interest in hiring someone with my expertise to fill the position and scheduled an Interview. I thought the interview went fairly well and was looking forward to hearing back from them to see what kind of offer they would make. Almost a month goes by and I hear nothing back so I emailed the hiring manager politely asking for an update. No response. Some more time passes by so I decide to call. They assure me that they have just been very busy and are still going through the interview process and will get back to me with their decision. Well another 2 months go by and I still have yet to hear anything back from them. At this point they have long taken down the listing for the open position. Again, I decide to politely email back asking for some professional feedback on their decision as I thought I was a good fit for this position. Nothing. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with the way this was handled and the lack of consideration for my time through this process. I waited months for a response and possibly missed out on other opportunities as I thought this was one of the more fitting positions for me. If you interview with this company I would be very cautious as they seemingly have no respect for your time.
