Colloquio
- 30 minute interview with Kate and Matt to talk about experience (online)
- 30 minutes with team manager (online)
- 40 minutes with team manager and another team member (online)
Lovely 30 minute chat with two people in the company to dig into my experience. Following that, I had a meeting with the team lead to dig a little deeper. The final stage was a meeting with the team lead and someone on the team. This is because they want to show you the product and make sure that you're happy to do the job before you actually start (which is really commendable and smart.)
The final stage was 3.5 weeks ago and I haven't heard back. I was also told I couldn't have my final stage when I requested it because they wanted to wrap up things at the end of that week. At the end of the final interview - on the Friday - I was told they they had more interviews the following week and that they will be in touch.
I wasn't contacted to tell me whether I had got the job and clearly I was lied to so that they could get my interview sooner. Really very disappointing all-round which is a shame because it started off so well.
It's also really interesting to fault a communications company on their communication when that's literally what they are meant to do. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they wanted to practice for interviews or desperately needed to jump into something soon.
Salary also incredibly low for a company operating out of central London

Colloquio
Found the job advert through LinkedIn and got an email to schedule a call "to discuss more in detail" the job and my suitability for the job and the company.
The email arrived very late in the evening, and so did the follow up ones which I didn't particulary like as it got me questioning the working hours and life/work balance of the company.
But what shocked me was the call itself.
The person was perfectly on time but only asked me to tell him about myself, which I did, in not more than 10 minutes and that was it.
He just finished the call, like that. Without giving me the chance to ask questions or having a conversation with me, for that matter, at all, rather than an interrogatory.
The only question I was able to ask was when I should've expected any feedback/response to which it was given a perfectly reasonable timeframe.
This timeframe, though, was never respected and I have never heard back from anyone within that company.
I find very rude and unprofessional to treat candidates like this. And I am aware of this exact thing not being the first case. I would review and take into consideration any feedback you recieve as it can help your reputation, in the first place.
