Moreover, I have been informed by several sources that the culture within the HR team is often unprofessional, and candidates are frequently met with dismissive or rude behavior. Unfortunately, I have experienced similar instances where my inquiries were either ignored or not handled with the courtesy one would expect from a global organization like Western Digital. I understand that processes can sometimes be delayed, but the absence of communication and the difficulty in obtaining updates have been particularly frustrating. As a candidate eager to contribute to Western Digital, it has been troublesome to follow up without any meaningful response, despite multiple attempts. I trust that you will look into this matter and take the necessary steps to ensure candidates are treated with respect and receive timely updates. Received recruiter email after applying. Resulted in Zoom/Teams meeting. He explained that I would be given interview with hiring manager. Hiring manager decided I had earned a full panel interview, which consisted of five additional interviews of 30 min each. Four of the five panelists conducted interviews as expected. Typical behaviorial style. One seemed a bit nervous, but that doesn't make me give anything other than thumbs up despite not getting an offer.
