Application via company website. HR contacted for an interview with senior managers. It was one hour interview. After one week I was contacted again and received a formal offer for the position.
Friendly back and forth including questions of past achievements and engineering process with the hiring manager and a junior staff member over an online video call lasting about 60 mins.
The 1.5‑hour interview was fully technical, evaluating advanced structural engineering expertise, code interpretation, design calculations, load analysis, detailing, and problem‑solving. It emphasized practical application of standards, leadership in complex projects, and ability to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions at a senior level.
