Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso WTW (San Francisco, CA) nel mese di mar 2010
Colloquio
I bombed this interview because I did not have a specific interest in pensions. If you really want this job, know the company, know pensions and know why you want to work for them and pensions. (Insert pensions with any other industry and this advice still holds). If I had been offered the job, I would have taken it but I would probably not be happy now. The work/life balance seemed poor. 50 hours a week seemed to be the minimum and 60 probably the norm for entry level. If you want to be something other than a spreadsheet monkey after 4 years, this job seemed to be your life. The people were okay, if you are very energetic and extremely dedicated to your job this would be a good place to work. Also, the exposure to executives of other companies could be great for a switch out of actuarial.
multiple stages ranging from video assessment, technical in office round test round, technical round. all rounds being eliminatory. questions asked are very technical in nature and requires good concept clarity.

real life examples of prob distribution examples, puzzles
e-interview hirevue display question and then record answer. have about 6 questions . 1 minute to prepare and 3 minutes to record. not a good experience as it lacks human interactions.

Motivations like why i want to work at WTW and why i want to pursue actuarial
Did a HireVue, but didn't get a response back yet. Had about 2 minutes to respond to each question. I only had 1 attempt which was stressful. If I were to do it again, I would practice in a mirror.
