Applied online and was very excited when I got an email about a phone interview. When the time came for the interview I never got a call. I emailed the recruit asking if the interview was going to happen and if it needed to be rescheduled and never heard back. Based on some of the reviews I’ve seen I definitely dodged a bullet here. HOWEVER, that does not excuse the complete lack of professionalism on WYLD’s part. To waste someone’s time like that is unforgivable. If they went with a different candidate or simply were no longer interested in interviewing me that is completely fine, but the least they could have done is send an email letting me know. But to let the interviewee sit and wait for a call is so beyond deplorable. Unfortunately they will get away with it and will continue to get away with mistreating applicants. If the reviews on Glassdoor are accurate, and I can’t imagine they aren’t based on the sheer number of negative reviews, it seems to me that the employees in that company should try to unionize and fight for better working conditions.
