      Colloquio

      Bizarre and disrespectful. They ghosted me after 4 interviews. I applied to this position and heard back from a "Talent Acquisition Specialist" about a month later. I went through a 30 minute phone screen with them, which went well. Then I had a 1-hour video call with the IT team, which went well. That was followed by a 1-hour in-person meeting at their corporate HQ with the VP of Tech and the IT Manager. This went well and actually went long because we had so much to talk about. They set up an additional interview with the ERP team to interview with them because they thought my skillset would be good for that team and they had less progress hiring for that position. They also suggested that I demo a piece of software that I had worked on at my previous job. The interview with the ERP team went well, and went long again because we had a lot to talk about. The only negative that stood out to me is that it didn't seem like they had been briefed at all ahead of time that I was going to demo some software I'd built that was relevant to the position, so there was additional context to provide and that felt awkward at first. They told me I should hear back by the end of the week... and then I never heard from the company again. I sent a follow up with no response, and months later I haven't even gotten a canned response. It felt like I was a great match in culture and experience throughout the entire interview process, so I was truly surprised that they simply ghosted. Overall, an absolute waste of time.
