Met with the recruiter who was very nice and professional. Second interview was with the hiring manager. He was extremely unprofessional and was knocking me down from the second we got on. He did not believe what my current job is because my LinkedIn did not exactly match what he was looking for. He could not seem to wrap his head around that other companies are structured differently than WalkMe. It made no sense whatsoever. Clearly he had someone else in mind for the job so he decided he should be rude for no reason. I have never met such an unprofessional individual at a VP level. Shame on WalkMe.

Recruiter screening call, call with potential manager, VP interview, peer interview. Very surface level, basic questions, seems like the requirements listed are asking for more than they need. After the recruiter screening call you will be asked to complete an AI exercise.

The Zoom interview with the VP of the team was great. I was very impressed with him. Than they had me come in for a sales pitch where I had to prepare a presentation as if I was selling to a new client. I prepared my presentation and when I got there and started Lauren the manager over the renewals team micromanaged my presentation and not even halfway through she cut me off and told me they had seen enough. She proceeded to tell me she was creating a real scenario. I can understand a scenario like that when you are already a customer. But when a company asks a sales person to invest in flying out and coming on site to give a presentation and they tell you, you have 30-45 minutes. They will respect your time and give you the allotted time they set aside. I have had situations like this happen with existing customers that are on a webex or the phone and are not able to stay on the line for the 30 minutes. But a new sales presentation in my opinion would not have gone that way. She asked me to grade my presentation and I told her based on the way she cut me off I would take it that she wasn't impressed. She said no I am not saying that I thought your presentation was good. From the presentation alone I could tell that she is a micromanager and wants to be involved in ever aspect of the process with the customers. If they would have offered me the job I would not have taken it based on that fact alone. What was more disappointing is they didn't even care to email or call me to tell me that I didn't get the job. They are still manually writing their contract. I would not entertain a position with this company if you are. They say great things on the outside and obviously want to impress people interviewing, However, I was able to get in touch with someone who had worked here after my interview and he had not many great things to say. He told me their pay is low. Its hard to meet your goals and you constantly have people looking over your shoulder and they don't trust you to do your job. Very high stressed job.
We are pleased to hear you had a good connection with members of the interview team but regret this was not the case with all you met. Additionally, we did not communicate an outcome. This is disappointing and an area of focus for us going forward. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
