Colloquio
I applied to Walmart six months before I got an interview. The interview was swift actually. I arrived 15 minutes early wearing black skinny jeans, a nice blouse, a blazer, and flats. I brought a notepad and a pen. I was obviously nervous since it was my first interview for my first job. The Front End Manager greeted me, asked if I was okay, asked if this was my first interview, etc. She took me into a room and began asking me all sort of questions that I shall list later on. I was offered the job after three questions and conversation. We really hit it off. I accepted the offer since I was in desperate need of a job. I filled out tons of paper work and she submitted a form for my background check. I went home. Three days later after my background check came back clean, I received a call to come to orientation. I went to orientation, filled out tons of paperwork, took a tour of the back of the store, met management, got my training schedule, went home, and started work the next day. I've been working for Walmart for over a year now.
Pretty easy. A lot of information up front that's hard to retain but everything you need to find is online. Pretty much always ends with an offer. Just be cool.
Online application and skill assessment, followed by an in person interview with a team lead. Assessment was a little vaguely worded at times, but it all seems like common sense if you've worked customer facing roles before.
Efficient interview process. Quick and easy interview. Hiring manager was approachable and easy to talk to. I was asked about my experience to determine if I would be a good fit.
