I applied through linkedIn in the month of Feb 2016. HR called me and scheduled a phone screen. The HR had not sent any official mail on the schedule of the interview.On the day of the interview, the discussion was postponed and was scheduled for 2 days later. Did the phone screen with the hiring manager and was called for onsite discussions. First round was case study presentation. Disappointed a bit when some senior panelists during the presentation laughed at few of my view points. And surprisingly, it happened multiple times.Maybe, the panelists wanted to assess how I can manage the chaos during the presentation. But, in my opinion, that was not a good impression to leave with the interview candidates. During the interview, candidates do look for good work culture, ethics and good behavior in potential employers. The interviewers were supportive in the subsequent rounds. Maybe, they realized their behavior. After case study, had 1:1 discussions on technical, managerial, functional and process aspect of project management. Throughout the discussion, I felt that the interview was being done for future requirement as the HR and panelists kept telling we are looking at where to fit you from first round of discussion itself. HR coordinator communication could have been better as she never replied to my queries and did not explain me anything about the IT set up required for case study presentation. Overall, a good experience with few improvements needed. Still waiting to hear from them and hopefully, it happens :)

I was interviewed for couple of positions and had terrible experience with both. First position, HR responded that I am shortlisted and would be offered. After salary expectations they rejected without any feedback. Second position, they interviewed with SW Engineers in panel who doesn't have enough experience. Walmart wants to show case they were recruiting in tough times. Don't waste your time discussing with them.
