Recruiter reached out to schedule a brief call. Had the interview with recruiter, where she prepped me for her maternity leave of absence (gave timeline, and connected me to the interim person filling in for her). Fine. Scheduled "interview" with Hiring Manager, which was not an interview, but more so a get to know you conversation that went well. At the end of this video call, we discussed availability for actual interview, although the Hiring Manager said he would be going away for some travels (still provided timeline of his pto and availability). I sent times, and never heard back from scheduler or hiring manager. Weeks go by and I reach out to the interim recruiter and received no response. I then reach out to the hiring manager, to which he casually responds that their team is no longer hiring for the role.
