      Colloquio

I had a really negative recruitment experience with Wargaming. After a few remote interviews with the hiring team (no onsite interviews, which felt strange), I received a call from my recruiter with an offer. They offered me the job I applied for, and in addition, part of my time would be dedicated to another department that aligns closely with my past experience. The recruiter sent over a document with the offer. I replied through email and let them know I was excited about accepting the position, but I countered for a very standard amount over the initial number. They said they'd get back to me early the following week. I checked in mid-week after my counter, and the recruiter said they hoped to have more information soon. This carried on for FOUR more weeks—I emailed and left messages multiple times—sometimes with no response, sometimes they let me know they were still hoping to have more information soon. My start date came and went. Finally, I received an email notification that the offer document had been canceled with the reason "candidate declined offer." I replied one last time to my recruiter asking for literally any information on where I stood, even if the offer had been rescinded. I received no reply. I'm not sure what Wargaming would like the candidate experience to look like, but it was awful to be left in limbo without ever receiving a definitive answer. This was completely unprofessional.
