I recently went through a three-round interview process for an internship position. The first two rounds were technical and went very smoothly; the interviewers were professional, polite, and asked relevant questions related to the role. However, the final round with one of the founders was disappointing. The conversation was largely unrelated to the position, and much of the time was spent on personal opinions and general topics rather than assessing my skills or fit for the internship. The tone felt dismissive at times, which made the experience uncomfortable and unproductive. For an internship role, the expectations seemed unrealistic; it felt as though they were seeking someone with the experience of a senior Analyst. Additionally, the interview was rescheduled twice, which made the process feel disorganized. Overall, while the technical team appeared professional and competent, the final stage left me with a poor impression of the company’s hiring culture. I hope they consider providing a more respectful and structured experience for future candidates.
