Terrible interview process overall. It took months to get from start to finish. The day of the on-site, one of the interviewers canceled two hours before his time slot and they couldn’t find a replacement. I then had to pressure the recruiters to schedule it for another day. How is that my job? One of the interviewers, a software engineer who leads a perception team, was just terrible and I almost ended up hanging up on him. He spent 30 minutes on a question about classification versus regression. What is this, 2010? I told him I didn’t know the answer he was looking for, but he refused to move onto other questions. During the system design question, he continuously interrupted me; he also said “that’s not the way I would design it”/“that’s not how I would present the solution.” This is a design question and the point is to see how I would solve it- not you dude. Overall I’m glad I didn’t get an offer because if this level of disorganization and rudeness is what you would expect in the job, I definitely don’t want to be here anyway!
