I was informed that you would reconnect with the finalized budget as there seemed to be a mismatch in expectations. However, after that discussion in February, I did not receive any further communication. Considering the lack of response for quite some time, I assumed the position might have been closed or the company had moved forward with another candidate. However, I recently received an email from you asking to connect at 4 PM today, which raised my expectations again. Unfortunately, the call did not happen.
