Bad recruiters who makes the interview process difficult.
Asks silly questions that can turn out to be very rude.
In the end they won't even send a rejection letter.
A complete waste of time!
Applied online and was scheduled for an interview with some developers and the CEO.
In the interview, they mentioned that they wanted the developer to basically be a walking IT department and do everything from setting up systems to coding to deploying. This sort of job description would have been a red flag to some, but I had some skills they needed and I was willing to learn what I can't do.
HOWEVER, when they asked for my expected salary, they said that it was too high - even when the amount was the average value in our local market. They also learned that my current salary was much lower than the market average (which was why I was resigning anyway), and coldly said that my expected salary was too high of a jump from my current salary. I just wanted to end the interview immediately by then. Worst interview experience so far.
They didn't even send a rejection email in the end.
To the company, please do not base your salary offers on the current salaries of candidates. It's such an outdated mindset. Getting some HR staff who knows how to properly deal with people might help too.

What can you do for DevOps? What do you know about mobile development? What can you offer to the company?

Answered a few technical questions, no task or anything hands-on. Two representatives from the company were there, one from HR and one senior developer. Lasted about an hour. It was done fairly without any pressure or judgment.
