      This has been one of the worst interview experience of my life, a kind of that one might use as a deterrent example in a case study. To be fair, I could know this when as one of the first intro question they asked online – while mentioning a “competitive salary” – that whether I have an iOS notebook of Windows laptop or I would like them to buy me one. Remember, we are talking about an executive role… So, one month after applying, Andras Perényi, the founder, sent me a letter personally, that they are inviting me for a personal interview. Well, I thought why not, let it see. I confirmed one of the mentioned time, and no answer arrived. I sent a second letter, no answer. Then I wrote to the customer support to learn what happened. They got me back, that they will ask Mr. Perényi. After a while, one day before the interview Mr. Perényi wrote a short letter, that this time is already filled, and mentioned another one… WTF? He mentioned the time, he missed to get me back, and then he says that it is filled… So, with some hesitation, I – mistakenly – accepted a second appointment to meet up, and this time asked for a confirmation. I guess you will be already not surprised: exactly the same happened. No confirmation arrived. I sent a second letter, nothing… To sum it up, unless you write a thesis about "extreme arrogance", "unseen unprofessionalism", "zero values and ethics" or “how to waste others time and be a jerk” or similar, you definitely want to avoid to get in touch with this company.

      Dear former Applicant of Ours! Thank you for your honest feedback regarding the interview experience of yours at Webshippy. I am terribly sorry in the name of our whole team for this inconvenient and unprofessional incident, and as regarding my own attitude and my late replies. By that time our startup had been at its ‘up’ period: We were enlarging our warehouse to its double, and had to face several challenges regarding the huge, fast growth of Webshippy, which we have only imagined, but not expected. We have been aiming to improve our employer attitude ever since, with steps such as being visible on Glassdoor as an employer and by responding to reviews such as yours. By employing HR professionals we would like to prevent such inconvenient situations like the one you have described and for which I feel incredibly ashamed and sorry. I hope you have managed to find a fulfilling position since then and I’m wishing you lots of success and happiness in your job.
