      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 5 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Webster Five (Auburn, MA) nel mese di ago 2022

      Colloquio

It all began pretty great. Applied and the hiring manager reached out to me after a couple days. We arranged a time (which was very expedited because it was before a holiday weekend) and when we met had a pretty awesome meeting with the head of HR and the hiring team. Was quickly moved to the next round and met with a larger panel of folks (all of which were great and had very good insights). Sent my follow-up emails and then waited...and waited...and waited. Sent several emails and called the hiring manager without any reply. fast forward 3 weeks and I get an email on a Sunday telling me that time "got away" from them and they wanted to have me meet two last people (who couldn't make the initial group interview) so I agreed, but wanted to avoid another potential ghosting so I asked for a brief call about compensation and deeper details on the remaining participants. I feel a bit insecure about this because of the long wait, but I decide to move forward and meet in person. I get all my welcome packet in order (which is sent very quickly) and arrive early to my meeting. Then the rookie cards come out to play. The software to check-in isn't working. There is luckily a phone number to call someone, who is very nice and comes to let me in. As we walk, the hiring manager is coming down the hallway and greets us. We go on an office tour, while we try and locate one of the two members who I am to meet with, and then I am seated to wait. About 5 minutes later we find out the interviewee isn't going to make it due to a medical leave that no one seemed to know about. Odd, but we press on. I meet with the final person - who is wonderful, but doesn't seem to have any idea about what this role would be doing and isn't overly bought it - and we quickly shift to normal conversation. After he leaves, I have about 20-30 mins with the hiring manager again where we talk about "open and honest communication" and about the timeline for this job. All is going well and we agree to speak in the coming weeks (lots of vacations and life events, I get it). Then guess what? Ghosted. No call, no reply to emails (after two to several folks on the hiring team) no nothing. Seems this organization isn't ready to bring an outsider in nor are they treating their candidates with the care they need to. I was up front from the moment we began and didn't get the same in return. Shameful.
