      Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto un giorno. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Weezevent (Montréal, QC) nel mese di mar 2025

      Colloquio

      The HR manager has no sypmtahy, nor does she seem to know the market she was recruiting for. I felt very uncomfortable when she asked me some rather borderline questions, where I had the impression that she was bothered by my ethnicity. She mentioned that it was common to sign deals over a beer in this kind of industry. Being used to this kind of practice, I pointed out that it wasn't a problem for me, and she ironically replied “Oh, you're sure?". At the end of the interview, she said she'd get back to me to meet the VP Sales. I'd later learn that I'd been passed over by the recruiter who'd put me forward for the job. No email, no follow-up. Is this how we continue to treat people on the job market in 2025?

      Hello, We're sorry that your experience didn't meet your expectations. However, lying is not honest. Your ethnicity was never a concern. Regarding signing deals "over a beer," the point was to ensure that your work-life balance wouldn't be impacted. You were told the manager was on vacation and that we would get back to you later. This was done through the firm that put us in touch. Finally, you didn't have an interview on March 1, 2025. The HR team doesn't work on Saturdays ;) Constructive and honest feedback always helps us move forward. Also, please feel free to tell us what we could do better or differently, but don't make defamatory comments -> jobs@weezevent.com
