It was a phone screening interview with HR. It was more conversational (vs. being asked one question after another) than most interviews I've had elsewhere. The recruiter was very personable.

The recruiting process is horrible, even if you have expertise within the organization or externally. Since the recruiting system has built in automation - is it really that difficult to select the decline button? At least applicants would know.
