Interviewers never took time to review resume prior to advancing me through the process. Spent over 12 hours in total talking with their various staff and moving up to the fourth and final round of interviews where the feedback was, based on my resume, that I had been stuck with one client for so long that this likely hampered my ability to jump into new client spaces. This is clearly outlined on my resume, so if it was such a dealbreaker, it should have come up in the initial phone screens, rather than wasting my time taking off from work and spending a weekend writing a free demonstration deliverable for them. They clearly do not value their candidates' time and don't take 10 minutes to read your resume before crushing you through the process. Would not recommend this process to my worst enemy.

Case questions involved a department store chain that was struggling with online sales due to being a late adopter of Internet retail. Case asked what fact-finding questions you would ask the client to get more information about the current state of their customer experience, marketing strategy, and more. The written portion they ask you to complete asks you to write out a more fleshed out deliverable with your recommendations on how to implement a solution for the client.
I submitted an application because I met all of the Required Qualifications of the job description. I was contacted by internal Talent Acquisition at West Monroe, and we set up a phone screen. He asked me to give my 5-10 minute background of myself so I laid out my expertise, then he asked me if I had any specific experience with a certain sub-industry/domain and I said no but that I've ramped on new topics quickly in all of my previous roles so would be prepared to do so again. He said that experience was non-negotiable for the team then ended the call. No where in the job description is that stated, otherwise frankly I wouldn't have applied or spent time prepping for it. I sent email feedback stating they should add that to the required qualifications instead of burying it in desired, but the job description has not changed.
3rd party HR reached out and then had a multi round teams interview with the team. Case study was given and needed to be provided back the next day. They reviewed and the whole process took less than 2 weeks.

what are the different areas that one should think about when accessing a IT implementation project?
I had a very disappointing experience during the interview process with West Monroe. The HR representative asked numerous questions that were unrelated to the role I applied for, and some even bordered on probing into confidential details about my current job — which made me feel extremely uncomfortable.
The tone came off as rude and invasive rather than professional or engaging. To make matters worse, the interviewer did not leave any time at the end for me to ask questions about the company or the role. It felt like a one-sided interrogation rather than a two-way conversation.
Overall, I left the interview with a negative impression of the company culture. Based on my experience, I would advise others to proceed with caution or consider looking elsewhere.
