The assessment day started with a case study exercise, which involved examining a fact pattern of a prospective client’s case and preparing answers to the questions provided to present later in the partner interview - 30 minutes was given to do this. The interview then started with settling in questions related to the initial written application, then centred around the case study exercise, and then finished with a discussion of a current legal development.
