I applied online and a week later (I think it was) got a call inviting me to participate in an interview at the Store I applied at. I arrived and asked one of the shop members on the shop floor as to who I should speak to, I got directed to a woman who took me upstairs where an Interview was already taking place. I waited for around 5 mins in the canteen, then got taken to be interviewed by the Store manager and another participant that seemed to be recording my answers. The manager to begin with explained who he is, what role he plays in the store and what activities he oversees and how the roles he oversees all work together to make the store run. From the deliveries in the mornings, to the customer service throughout the day. The interview was relaxed and not stressful.

Did my application got an email for an interview the next day. The interview was so informal. Hiring manager looked so uninterested. Never shopping there again. This is Wilko in Wood Green Shopping Mall for reference. I didn’t even get an email back after the interview.
