Typical IB interview except easier. Simple technical questions (DCF, valuation analysis, etc). Nearly all fit. Why William Blair? Why Chicago? Some accounting questions. All easy. If the guys there like you as a person, you'll be hired.
Applied online and had a first-round interview via Teams. Discussion focused on background and fit, motivation for investment banking and the firm, and role-specific questions. Interviewer was friendly and supportive throughout.

it was overall pretty smooth. People are really nice and welcoming. They want to see you do well by all means. It is a good company but had growing pains during covid.
