I applied online and heard back quickly to schedule an interview. I interviewed with the Director and it was a nice, conversational type interview. She shared about the company and team being lean, the reason they're hiring contractually, and expectations of the job. She shared how they were looking to hire rather quickly so to expect it to move fast. I moved on to the next round of interviewing with the rest of the team (2 employees) and asked for a 90 minute window if possible. I submitted my times and followed up and was ghosted. I assume it's because they were going through an acquisition and announced after the fact. But it was extremely upsetting to move as quickly as they were saying, only to be ghosted with no explanation to any of my follow ups. I think it was timing but I'm sure they're probably doing better now that they've acquired elvie. So they may have a larger team to help. Which in any case, is great for them!
