I submitted my resume, and then was prompted to complete a 10 minute video interview. The video interview asked relevant questions pertaining to the role for which I was interviewing. Within hours I received a call from a recruiter to discuss my background in more detail. The recruiter was engaging, and answered all of my questions about WillowTree. Next I did an interview with the VP of HR, followed by a call with the VP of Operations. After the phone call, I was invited to their headquarters in Charlottesville, VA. WillowTree coordinated all of my travel and set me up in a beautiful Inn. The final interview included an informal lunch followed by a test project and Q&A with the founder, CEO, and other members of the executive team. I was pleasantly surprised with how involved the executive team was in the interview process. It showed that they truly are invested in the people they hire, even as they continue to rapidly grow. The exec team was down-to-earth, transparent, and humorous. My visit solidified my choice of WillowTree. Everyone I met was extremely friendly, passionate, and talented. The atmosphere of the office was modern, innovative, and had a lot of fun activities going on.
