      1. Application & Resume Screening You apply through a job portal, referral, or recruiter. HR or an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) screens resumes based on: Relevant skills and experience Job stability Education and certifications Shortlisted candidates move to the initial screening stage. --- 2. HR Screening (Initial Call) Purpose: Eligibility and alignment check Duration: 15–30 minutes Topics covered: Current role and responsibilities Total experience and relevant experience Notice period and availability Current CTC, expected CTC Location and shift preferences Reason for job change Outcome: If aligned, HR schedules the technical interview. --- 3. Technical Interview (One or More Rounds) Purpose: Skill and competency evaluation Duration: 45–90 minutes per round Common focus areas: Core technical skills (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, procedures, functions) Problem-solving and logic-based questions Real project scenarios and challenges handled Coding or query-writing exercises (live or written) Database concepts, optimization, and best practices Senior roles may include: System design Debugging production issues Decision-making and ownership questions --- 4. Managerial / Client Round Purpose: Role fit and behavioral assessment Topics covered: Day-to-day responsibilities in previous projects Handling deadlines, pressure, and escalations Communication with stakeholders or clients Team collaboration and leadership (if applicable) Scenario-based and situational questions This round evaluates: Attitude and work ethic Ownership and accountability Cultural fit with the team --- 5. HR Final Discussion Purpose: Closure and negotiation Topics covered: Final salary discussion and benefits Joining date confirmation Policy explanation (notice period buyout, leave, WFH, etc.) Background verification process If everything aligns: Verbal confirmation is given. --- 6. Offer Letter & Background Verification Official offer letter is released via email.
