The whole interview felt totally off. It was completely robotic and scripted, like they were just reading off a screen with zero empathy or human connection. Then came the red flags: they’re asking for crazy background checks, constant ID verifications, and demanding full-time overlap for a remote role. They even insisted I couldn’t have any other projects on the side. Honestly, it makes no sense—it felt more like they were hiring for a surveillance state than a dev team.

Colloquio
Had 2 interviews. What people say here is entirely true: the interviews are robotic, one question after the other, without generating a real conversation, without feedback, just an OK raw reply, no human connection at all. For some reason, during the interviews, you are asked to show your ID on camera. Not even introductions, you don't know who you are talking to. I just stopped the 2nd interview 20 minutes after starting because of the discomfort I was feeling, so unpleasant. If that's the interview, what can you expect working there?
I had a initial interview with recruiter. I got a bit uncomfortable, they asked to show my passport during the call.
The recruiter laugh when I told that their compensation range was out of my target.
