It was a basic HR interview. When the interview began, it was apparent that she both hadn't read my resume nor even my job application. She didn't so much as bother to read what degrees I had, or even if I needed sponsorship to work. She also wanted to know how my degree related to the position, despite the fact that I have significant experience in the field already.
She mentioned a bonus structure, but wanted me to name salary expectations without saying how exactly the bonus structure worked or the range of the bonus structure. When I told her that the salary range was reasonable, but that I expected to be more at the top end than the bottom, she took this to mean I expected exactly the top of the range. It was plain that they had no intention of paying anything close to their top end range. Overall, not a company I'd bother with.
