Commuted an hour and a half into the city and took a day off of work for the interview. It went pretty well, very professional and the people were friendly enough. I was told I would find out within a week whether I got an offer or not. It's been over a month and still radio silence. I emailed them to follow up and never got a response. I get that people are busy or whatever but how long does it take to send some automated message saying sorry but we hired someone else? I checked off here that I didn't get the interview because I had to pick something but the truth is I haven't actually heard back yet and probably never will. Or maybe I will get some nasty, flat one-liner back. It's just rude and doesn't reflect well on the company; it cost me time and money to go to this interview and they don't even have the decency to send me a two-second email. Oh well, I guess I dodged a bullet.
