1. I replied to the ad on Craigslist and I got the response. I checked to make sure this person is legit (you know how CL people are). We emailed back and forth thru CL email. The person also has his work email on the CL email on it which I did not use till later. 2. We scheduled a phone interview with the person and it went great. Time was up, he stated he has other candidates to interview and aims to hire at least 10 people (contract job) that week. I had more questions so he asked me to email him with them plus in the end, I mentioned that I am Deaf to see how he react to it. It seems to not bother him which pleased me very much. He stated that he is aware of ADA laws and is happy to accommodate if needed. 3. After the phone interview, I emailed him with the questions- both CL and his work email. Heard nothing. I sent 2 more follow-up emails eventually and heard nothing. It means ONE thing- my disability. He stopped communication like that after I mentioned that I am Deaf.
