I was referred internally. After an 30 mins phone screen, I was asked for an onsite. The funny thing is as an interview for a senior position, the whole process only took 1.5 hr and most of the questions are more like entry level questions. The next day I was told they are looking for people with more experience. At least from the interview, I don't see why they need a senior dev.
