Colloquio
I had an initial interview with a recruiter which touched on my experience and briefly explained the role and team that is recruiting. I was then invited to an assessment centre day. The activities were very typical, group exercise, case study and interview. The case study was good and was easy to understand. The group exercise was a desert island scenario and arguing for which items you think should be picked. Overall I felt this was very poorly explained leaving us all confused. The interview was the worst part and having been through many interviews it felt really odd. It felt more like I was being asked riddles than about my experience and skills. There seemed to never be a right answer or that they felt I wasn't understanding the question. Overall there was also very little testing in terms of technical knowledge which I found strange. While there were lots of great people there it honestly felt disappointing and disheartening especially having to travel all the way to London.
1st round was coding round with Core Java. second round was Technical on Java, Springboot and microservices. memory management and multithreading. Also questions were asked around microservices architecture and some questions from Kubernetes, deployment and apis
One on one Screening call followed by interview. Interview was solo but turned into a two on one for someone shadowing interview process. Asked about background and technical skills. Just looking for answers.
simple and striaghtforward, recruiter screen + info call followed with a technical interview with the hiring manager. technical interview was just one coding question followed with some questions about experience and technical knowledge
