I very much appreciated how friendly all the interviewers were and how practical the overall process was. The team was very accommodating with expediting the process for me over 4 days
The interview process is documented on the website and comprised of the following steps:
1- Recruiter screen
2- Hiring Manager chat
3- Technical pairing and architectural deepdive
4- Career Roadmap

The hiring manager and career roadmap interviews was driven in a conversational manner and covered a mix of future goals, background and behavioural questions.
The technical portion was a pairing exercise with staff engineers and follow up questions to the architecture project deep drive that I presented. Plus one for practical interviews that don't rely on leetcode!
I submitted my application for an EM role and was immediately sent back a link to sign an NDA before my application could be processed. Immediate red flag. I read the NDA and this particular clause jumped out at me:
"Recipient agrees that all such Feedback is provided entirely voluntarily and Wrapbook shall have a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully transferable, and sublicensable right to use, modify, disclose, and otherwise exploit such Feedback without restriction or obligation to Recipient."
This means that any feedback, comments, or suggestions I'd provide during the application or interview process become Wrapbook's IP forever, for free. In an EM interview I'd expect to share strategic thinking, process ideas, architectural opinions: all of that would belong to them the moment I said it.
That's PREDATORY. Application immediately withdrawn.
