The people at X-Team are extremely friendly and supportive: however, I spent a good number of weeks preparing, and I don't feel the higher up I met with did such a great job at preparing for for what to expect.
This Python role ALSO involved SQL, which I admit I was rusty on at that time, and while I was mildly warned about it, I was told to expect the final interview to be over Python: it was almost entirely SQL.
Now, I understand that you can't always know what someone else is gonna do in an interview, but X-Team just cut me off cold after I was counted out. No "hey, sorry about that, I anticipated what they would ask incorrectly". Just totally radio silence.
Tried applying for other positions: radio silence. Try again in 6 months, maybe? Well, I'll try again if they're still around in 5 years, maybe.
