      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso XPO (High Point, NC)

      Colloquio

Annoying and unprofessional phone interview in High Point, NC. I felt like I was being interviewed by Minnie Mouse. Perhaps I could have tolerated the caller's high-pitched, squeaky voice if not for her random comments and talking about herself ("I've been sick," "I used to be a chemist,") and loud outbursts giggling at herself. Caller also seemed to very inexperienced with interviewing someone at my level and had very little knowledge about what financial professionals do. Much of the time was spent focusing on the pay and benefits my current employer provides rather than learning about me as a potential hire for the role. So much that it seemed her primary reason for calling was to spy on the competition. She hammered me about my 401k and company match, current salary and bonus, number of vacation days, sick policy, and even went so far as to ask if I had company stock and if so, how much? I was so turned off by this first impression of XPO, I declined to accept the invitation for an in person interview. Advice to XPO executives: 1. How much company stock I own, my co-pay for health insurance, how much is in my 401k, and the salary my current employer pays me is none of your business. 2. Leave the driver recruiters to do the driver recruiting, and hire executive or senior level recruiters to do the recruiting for executive and senior level positions.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

"What are your top 3 skills?" Really? So 1990. If you can't figure out my skills in an interview, you're doing it wrong.
