There were 4 remote non-technical discussions, 1 with each level of the company. They all went very well and all said I was a good technical and personal fit for the company. An offer was made consisting of a very low base salary (relative to my experience, education and location) plus a small amount of stock options. A counter-offer was made for a more reasonable base salary. Then the company ghosted me. Interestingly, in between the interviews and discussions, one of the interviewers was fired. That interviewer reached out on LinkedIn to warn me about working here. This company is very unprofessional. Given this level of unprofessionalism and having seen their software, I don't think this company has a future. Consider this when they offer you a low salary + worthless stock options.
