Xgrid uses a multi stage evaluation process. There was initial interview, in which they asked about my previous experience as well as the proficiencies that I has mentioned. This was followed by a take home task, and then a final technical evaluation.

Written Test followed by Technical Interview. Written test was lengthy, of 2 hours and contained Programming questions, aptitude questions and academic objective portion. Time management is extremely important as test is very lengthy. My advice is to focus on programming section which accounted for half of my test's total marks. Programming questions contain algorithm designing and classical problem solving. Constraints can be placed in some questions by requiring to write code only instead of pseudo code. Multiple languages are eligible for writing code including C++, python.
