One of the most important questions I was asked was about my experience with Xiaomi products and how I would compare them with other competing brands. The interviewer wanted to understand not only my familiarity with Xiaomi’s product ecosystem, but also my perspective on its strengths and weaknesses in comparison to brands like Samsung or Apple, particularly in terms of pricing, performance, design, and user experience. In addition, I was asked about my understanding of sales channels and distribution strategies, especially in the German market. This included questions about online versus offline channels, partnerships with retailers and telecom operators, and how Xiaomi could further expand its presence in Germany. The interviewer was also interested in my thoughts on localization strategies, consumer preferences, and potential challenges Xiaomi might face in the European market. Overall, the question required a combination of product knowledge, market awareness, and logical thinking, rather than purely technical expertise.
