Overall, my experience interviewing at Xiaomi was incredibly positive. Each round was well-organized, and the team took the time to assess not only my skills but also my alignment with their culture. While there was a small hiccup in the final round with the HRBP—where I felt undermined and insulted from the start—it didn’t overshadow the great interactions I had throughout the process, and I truly loved engaging with the team. For anyone looking to join Xiaomi, I’d recommend being prepared for engaging discussions and showcasing not just your skills but also your passion for design. This position really seeks a designer who can think outside the box.
