I interviewed twice with Year Up United over a four-month period, with disappointing outcomes both times. The first role required three rounds of interviews before being cancelled due to an internal promotion. Shortly after, I interviewed for a similar position supporting the restructured team. After two rounds, this role was also cancelled with minimal explanation. While I appreciate that organizations undergo changes, having two positions cancelled during the interview process indicates potential instability in their hiring planning. The lack of transparent communication about these changes was particularly concerning. Though the interviewers were professional, I would caution other candidates about investing time in their interview process until their organizational restructuring settles.
